Love, Comics, Dumplings!
Gung Hei Fat Choi!

So many great things going on right now! First off:

Indie Spinner rack interview!

Dave and Raina and John and I all sat down and waxed philosophic for, I think, a million hours. But it was so much fun! If you know me, you know I'm a talker. :) Despite the abundance of my voice, it's an enjoyable listen and so great to hear about all the awesome comic art going on... and you can learn how you, too, can meet the love of your life by doing something you love!

Second off:

The Comics Bakery is open!

Dave came to the realization that we should have a shorter and more tasty name than the "Crypticpress, Raina Telgemeier and Marion Vitus Table" so he thought of a brilliant idea that evokes images of cupcakes (the man is deliciously smart!) and lo, behold The Comics Bakery. We'll be serving up minis, graphic novels, and T-Shirts among other delectable delights starting off at New York Comic Con!

You'll find us February 23, 24, 25 in Artist Alley Table A206, which is in the Galleria.

Last off:

Chinese New Year! Welcome to the year of the Pig. Specifically, the year of the Golden Pig. China's bracing for a population boom due to the belief that children born in the year of the Golden Pig will be polite, honest, hardworking, loyal and most importantly (this is the Golden part) have a comfortable and wealthy life. John and I celebrated (myself in true Dragon fashion) by eating loads of pork dumplings and walking around Chinatown.

Marion, your voice is worthy of NPR. Also loved the story of how you and John met at Comicon.
